We’re looking for an experienced Structural Engineer to join the Poole office of a dynamic multidisciplinary consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering innovative and sustainable engineering solutions. With their Poole office expanding, we are looking to recruit a Senior Structural Engineer to strengthen their growing Structural Engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a senior role within a progressive and supportive consultancy.

Responsibilities

• Lead on a variety of projects across residential, commercial, and infrastructure sectors.
• Work closely with architects, developers, and contractors, providing technical leadership and creative design solutions.
• Manage your own projects and mentor junior engineers.
• Play a key role in shaping the future of the Poole team as the office expands.

What You Need To Succeed

• Strong technical design experience across steel, concrete, timber, and masonry.
• Proficiency in structural design software such as Tekla, Tedds, Robot, or similar.
• Proven track record of delivering projects to a high standard.
• Ability to manage workloads, lead project teams, and mentor junior engineers.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills, with a collaborative approach.
• Chartered or near-chartered status with ICE or IStructE.
• MEng or BEng in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
