Senior Structural Engineer - leading engineering consultancy

Location: London
Salary: Competitive

The Role

As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will join a growing civil engineering team working with the lead to grow and assist the team. In this role, you will contribute to projects in a variety of sectors, including industrial and property, at a range of different stages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a design team, providing them with knowledge and advice
  • Provide engineering projects to several sectors, including industrial, airports, water and utilities
  • Produce civil engineering designs
  • Arrange reports at various stages of the projects
  • Regularly be in contact with clients, enhancing relationships
  • Liaise with project stakeholders
About You
  • At least 7 years of experience either in a consultancy or in construction
  • Qualified to MEng or above and be a Chartered Engineer or equivalent
  • Developing, leading and growing an engineering team
  • Broad experience of civil engineering projects, including earthworks, roads and drainage
  • Knowledge of 2D and 3D (AutoCad, Civil3D) and drainage software (Microdrainage, InfoDrainage)
  • Working knowledge of design standards, codes of practice, and health and safety standards
  • Experience in Site supervision
  • Have experience with BIM
