Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in stress analysis and hand calculation.
• Experience in a regulated environment (e.g. Nuclear, Defence).
• Track record of using engineering analysis software.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of engineering projects and workstreams.
• Perform hand calculations and FE analysis for designs.
• Author and check design analysis documentation.

Hand calculation using Mathcad

Knowledge of BS EN 13001

Knowledge of Eurocode 3

Software analysis using ANSYS

Software analysis using NASTRAN

Education

Degree, HNC or HND in an Engineering discipline
