Job summary

AtkinsRéalis’ Digital, Data and AI Advisory team is seeking a Senior Strategy Consultant to guide clients through data strategy, governance and AI-enabled decision-making. You will lead multi-disciplinary workstreams, align stakeholders around a shared vision, and deliver actionable plans that balance ambition with feasibility in complex operating environments.

Qualifications

• Experience in data management, governance, stewardship and approaches for improving organisational data capability.
• Ability to translate client needs into clear data strategies, roadmaps and practical requirements.
• Strong consulting and stakeholder engagement skills: ability to influence senior stakeholders and turn analysis into clear recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Leading projects and workstreams to deliver high-quality outputs, ensuring recommendations reflect inclusion and sustainability values.
• Working with clients to understand how data is created, governed and used across their organisation, identifying opportunities to improve data-supported decisions.
• Developing data-focused strategies, visions and roadmaps to improve data quality and governance.
• Developing structured business cases and providing recommendations that help clients prioritise data investments.
• Applying systems thinking to uncover digital and data implications of operational challenges.
• Assessing operating models and helping clients improve data ownership, stewardship and governance.
• Collaborating across advisory, markets and technical teams to link data strategy to client context and delivery.
• Contributing to thought leadership and capability development within the practice.
• Identifying opportunities to provide additional value to clients and supporting bids where appropriate.
