Job summary

BCL Legal is seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join a leading national law firm’s Commercial Dispute Resolution team in the UK. You will handle high-value disputes, advise on strategy, and contribute to client relationships from day one.

The role provides exposure to High Court proceedings, arbitration, and cross-border matters, with a clear path for progression and the opportunity to work alongside respected litigators.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with significant commercial litigation experience.
• Excellent knowledge of High Court litigation and Civil Procedure Rules.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and advocacy skills.
• Experience advising commercial clients across sectors.
• Ability to manage client relationships and supervise junior lawyers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex commercial litigation matters from instruction to trial, settlement or enforcement.
• Advise corporate clients on litigation strategy, risk and dispute resolution.
• Handle High Court litigation, arbitration and other ADR.
• Draft pleadings, witness statements, applications and key litigation documents.
• Manage large-scale disclosure using eDisclosure platforms.
• Collaborate with leading Counsel on high-profile cases and develop strategy.
• Supervise, mentor and support junior team members with high standards.
