Job summary

Toolstation in Thanet is hiring a Senior Store Assistant (keyholder) for 20 hours per week on a 3-month fixed-term contract. Local applicants preferred with ability to commute and manage early starts and late finishes.

You’ll greet customers, help them find products, and support deliveries, warehouse tasks and stocking. You may open/close the store and supervise teammates when required, contributing to a friendly, efficient shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in retail or hospitality.
• Experience as a keyholder or supervising team members.
• Willingness to work early and late shifts.
• Strong communication and customer engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and stock shelves.
• Handle deliveries and warehouse tasks.
• Open and close the store as keyholder.
• Provide short-term supervisory cover when needed.
