Job summary

Practice Plus Group Hospital Shepton Mallet is seeking a Senior Sterile Services Technician to lead and support a high‑quality decontamination and sterile supplies service, ensuring instruments are cleaned, inspected, sterilised and distributed to exacting standards.

You will support the Deputy Sterile Services Manager, supervise the team, and contribute to governance, validation, and continuous service improvements while developing your leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in a healthcare setting and knowledge of sterile services processes.
• Ability to lead and supervise colleagues in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with a collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Support safe and effective decontamination and sterile supplies service.
• Clean, check, assemble, pack, sterilise and distribute medical devices.
• Assist with daily validation testing and maintain traceability records.
