Job summary

ICON plc is seeking a Senior Statistical Analyst in Real World Evidence to drive observational studies and health outcomes analyses. You will design studies, develop SAPs, and apply advanced statistical methods to derive evidence for decision‑making.

The role requires strong SAS programming, experience with real‑world data, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality project outputs and publications.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Mathematics, Data Science, Public Health, or related quantitative field.
• Significant experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CRO, healthcare research or Real World Evidence.
• Advanced SAS programming with datasets, analyses, macros, tables and figures.
• Strong understanding of statistical methodologies and their application to healthcare data.

Responsibilities

• Support study design, protocol development and SAPs for real-world evidence projects.
• Develop and validate SAS programs, tables, listings, figures and datasets.
• Perform statistical analyses including longitudinal and survival methods.
• Prepare methods/results sections for reports and publications.
• Communicate results to clients and cross-functional teams.
• Lead quality control of programming deliverables and data transfers.
