A leading healthcare provider in Greater London is seeking a Band 6 Senior Staff Nurse to join their dynamic surgical team. We are looking for band 6 senior staff nurses who appreciate the challenge and reward of working in a fast-paced environment where we provide life‑saving care.
Our General Surgery Department provides acute services to St Georges Hospitals and to an extensive tertiary network. Gray ward is a dynamic, high‐acuity, 32‑bedged general surgery ward with a primary focus on upper GI and colorectal specialties, while also treating urology, T&O, ENT, gynaecology and bariatric patients. You will be part of the team that looks after patients from arrival in A&E through to discharge, including complex nursing needs such as early deterioration detection, specialist drain and stoma care, complex pain and wound management, and parenteral nutrition.
This is a full‑time position with a variety of shifts including nights and weekends. We offer a flexible rostering approach to support a good work‑life balance, with forward rotation of shifts, sufficient rest periods after nights and up to 5 shift requests per month in addition to annual leave entitlement.
