Responsibilities
  • Support and deputise for the ED Nurse in Charge / Team Leader with the objective of providing high quality nursing care ensuring effective management of staff and resources.
  • Carry out day to day management and co-ordination of the department.
  • Participate in the support and professional development of all staff.
Qualities and Experience

  • Seeking experienced adult nurses to join our Emergency Department team as senior staff nurses; there is also potential for secondment opportunity too.
  • Extensive experience with emergency care, including triage and resuscitation and ability to provide first‑rate care to critically ill patients.
  • Emerging leaders for our department, willing to take on projects, develop and teach junior staff and drive LINK nurse initiatives.
  • Experience with a wide variety of patients, from those with primary care issues in our ED injuries unit to trauma patients seen in the designated Major Trauma Centre for southwest London.
  • Comfortable and competent to work in all areas of the department.
