Elysium Healthcare Limited is seeking a Senior Mental Health Nurse (RMN/RNLD) to join Farmfield Hospital in Charlwood, Surrey. You will care for adults with enduring mental health needs in a multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality, evidence-based practice with compassion and teamwork.

Role involves assessment, care planning, mentorship, and accurate documentation in a busy forensics setting, with strong emphasis on patient wellbeing and staff support.

Qualifications

• Qualified Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Registered Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD).
• Active NMC registration.
• Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience.
• Experience with EUPD or ASD is beneficial.
• Strong teamwork and flexible, self-motivated approach.
• Commitment to high-quality, evidence-based care with compassion.

Responsibilities

What You Will Be Doing

As a qualified Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Registered Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD), you will ensure people with enduring mental health illnesses such as personality disorder, substance misuse issues and behaviours that challenge receive high-quality care, while also supporting your colleagues and promoting positive teamwork.

The Wards Are Busy, With Plenty To Keep You Engaged And Motivated, And a Good Amount Of Routine And Variety. Your Day-to-day Will Include

• Providing high-quality, effective and compassionate nursing care to service users
• Being responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care
• Providing mentorship and support to team members
• Observing, recording and reporting all service user changes, and maintaining accurate records of care provided

Skills And Knowledge You Will Have

• A relevant nursing qualification
• NMC registration
• 3 years post qualification experience
• Experience working with patients with EUPD or ASD
• Strong team-working skills
• A high level of self-motivation and a flexible approach
• A positive attitude and be naturally caring and compassionate

Where you will be working

Location: Farmfield Drive, Charlwood, Surrey, RH6 0BN

You will be working at Farmfield Hospital, which is a large purpose-built medium-secure service with good facilities. Working alongside a multidisciplinary team, you will provide care and support for adult men 18+ with a forensic background and enduring mental health illnesses such as personality disorder, substance misuse issues and behaviours that challenge.

Farmfield is located North West of Gatwick airport near the village of Hookwood, It is easiest to reach the site by car.
