Senior Staff Nurse

The closing date is 19 November 2025

Effective coordination of Admissions and those attending for surgery under the care of the surgical teams. Provision of a good quality of safe care for patients and their significant others. Assessment, planning and evaluation of care within the remit of the service, ensuring safe and appropriate patient placement and the achievement of related Trust targets. Provision of a proactive learning environment for all grades of staff and students.

Main duties of the job

Assess, plan, deliver and evaluate nursing care within the remit, providing excellent clinical leadership skills to ensure the effective delivery of patient care and resources in the unit. Support the Sister/Ward Manager in the delivery of corporate objectives. Take regular charge of the ward / unit as required.
