Qualifications

• Solid experience as a Senior SQL Database Administrator or in a similar senior-level role.
• Hands-on experience with database server security patching.
• Strong knowledge of Azure SQL Data Warehouse and ETL or data pipelines (ADF).
• Confident in performance tuning and optimisation.
• Experience with backups, restores, and recovery models.

Responsibilities

• Managing, monitoring, and maintaining Microsoft SQL Server databases.
• Supporting Azure PaaS databases, including Azure SQL and Managed Instances.
• Implementing and maintaining High Availability and Disaster Recovery.
• Troubleshooting connection issues across servers and networks.
