Job summary

KBR is seeking a Senior MS SQL Database Administrator to oversee the administration, maintenance, performance, security, and availability of enterprise SQL Server environments worldwide. The role includes cloud-based database services, automation, and ensuring compliance with governance standards.

The ideal candidate will have deep SQL Server expertise, strong troubleshooting and scripting skills, and experience with Azure SQL and on-call support as part of a global team.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of database administration experience with enterprise Microsoft SQL Server environments.
• Experience installing, configuring, and upgrading enterprise-scale SQL Server platforms.
• Experience in production DB environments in large, complex organizations.
• Experience working in cloud-based environments, including Microsoft Azure.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain enterprise Microsoft SQL Server environments.
• Manage backup, recovery, replication, migration, and DR processes.
• Design and support high-availability and business continuity solutions.
• Administer Azure SQL Databases, including security, connectivity, monitoring, and performance.
