Your Role:
- You will supervise the Sports Assistants and Receptionists, ensuring they deliver a professional service when operating the leisure facilities within Aldershot Garrison.
- You will cover the Duty Manager Role in times of absence.
- You will carry out duties in a safe and proper manner, both for yourself and the wellbeing of others.
- You will advise users of the Sports Centre’s regulations and how to use the facilities safe and correctly.
- You will maintain strict supervision over swimming pool users, ensuring their safety at all times.
- You will carry out swimming pool rescues, apply resuscitation and administer first aid when necessary.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualifications: GCSE Grades A-C
- Experience: You will have experience at Supervisory level at minimum, excellent communication and customer service skills, and are competent with Microsoft Office packages. You will be self-motivated, committed, have a can-do approach, as well as possess good numeracy and literacy skills.
- Skills: You will be able to communicate clearly, use effective methods to deliver the message, work effectively with others and maintain constructive relationships within the team. In addition to this, you will commit to putting customers first and deliver a high-quality service that meets or exceeds expectations of both internal and external customers.
