Job summary

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for two Senior Clinical Fellow posts in Spinal Surgery. These 12-month posts run from 1 August 2027 to 31 July 2028 and offer comprehensive exposure to all spinal subspecialties across OUH sites.

The Fellow will gain experience in outpatient clinics, operating lists and ward work, rotate between two clinical teams, and participate in management and audit activities.

Qualifications

• FRCS(Orth) or equivalent required.
• Post-CCT training desirable.
• Experience teaching undergraduates and trainees would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Gain fellow level experience in spinal surgery.
• Provide senior support to the professional team in outpatient clinics, operating lists and ward work.
• Engage in management and audit responsibilities of the team.
