Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust's Children’s Speech and Language Therapy Team in Coventry is seeking a Senior Speech and Language Therapist (Band 6) to work with children and young people aged 0–19 years.

You will support a wide range of speech, language and communication needs across different settings and collaborate with families, education settings and multidisciplinary colleagues to achieve the best outcomes.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic and motivated Speech and Language Therapist for Children’s SLT Team.
• Band 6 level experience preferred or current Band 6.
• Work with children and young people aged 0–19 across settings.
• Collaborate with families, education settings and multidisciplinary colleagues.

Responsabilités

Children’s Speech and Language Therapy

Full time 37.5 hrs per week

Whether you are looking for your first Band 6 role or you are already an experienced Band 6 therapist, we can offer a rewarding role with excellent opportunities for support and professional development. You will work with children and young people aged 0–19 years, supporting a wide range of speech, language and communication needs across a variety of settings. Our therapists work collaboratively with families, education settings and multidisciplinary colleagues to ensure children and young people achieve the best possible outcomes.

The Children’s Speech & Language Therapy Team aims to provide a high quality service to children, young people and their families. We provide assessment, interventions, and advice to children and young people aged 0-19 with a Coventry GP. We also support children in Coventry special schools and specialist settings with an Education, Health & Care Plan. We have developed clinical pathways and a competency programme in Speech, Language, Voice , Stammering, Dysphagia, Deafness, Cleft Palate, Alternative & Augmentative Communication and young children "At Risk" of SLCN.
