A community healthcare provider in Colchester is seeking a public health and community-focused nurse to provide local clinical leadership to a dedicated team. The role involves overseeing immunisation programmes, collaborating with various stakeholders, and promoting health in communities. Ideal candidates will have prior vaccination experience and a strong passion for public health. The position offers numerous benefits and supports for personal development.
Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust (HCT) provides community-based healthcare services across the East of England with a value driven approach that is innovative, caring and agile. HCT's Community and School Aged Immunisation Service (CSAIS) works together with other stakeholders to identify eligible individuals and provide immunisations in community and school settings, as well as providing dynamic responses to disease outbreaks wherever required.
This role will provide local clinical leadership to a small team of clinicians and administrative staff working in Colchester as part of the wider Suffolk and North East Essex service. It will involve travel across the whole geography and at times out of the counties of Essex and Suffolk.
The role will provide an exciting opportunity for a public health and community focused nurse who is beginning their leadership journey to support and develop the CSAIS team working alongside the Team lead and two other Specialist Immunisation Nurses.
