Job summary

Liverpool Football Club's Creative Marketing Team is seeking a Senior Specialist, Digital Graphic Designer to shape world-class motion graphics and static content across digital, social, web, film and campaigns from our city centre Liverpool office.

You will work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment using After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator to deliver creative assets for matchday and brand activity, with evenings and weekends required to support events.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in digital graphic design, ideally within a fast-paced creative/marketing/media environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging motion graphics, static and animated content across digital, social, web, film and campaigns.
• Work in live matchday environments across men's, women's, academy and charitable fixtures.
• Optimize motion content for different platforms and formats, including social-first assets and large-scale installations.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and external partners to design marketing creative inventory for go live.
• Develop templated concepts and react quickly in high-pressure moments.
• Scope briefs, drive creative problem solving and improve brand sentiment through design.

Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our Liverpool FC Creative Marketing Team as a Senior Specialist, Digital Graphic Designer. You will work within the club’s marketing department and report to the Manager, Graphic Design. You will work alongside the creative marketing team to deliver the visual requirements and creative assets that support the club’s media, commercial and brand activity.

What will you be doing?

• Create engaging, world class motion graphics, statics and animations across digital, social, web, film and campaign content, bringing fresh ideas to the team and pushing the boundaries of the brand.
• Work in live matchday environments across men’s, women’s, academy and charitable fixtures and large-scale club announcements.
• Optimise motion content for different platforms and formats, from social-first assets to large-scale installations, or challenging static positions.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders, external creative support and media partners to design creative marketing inventory for go live.
• Be able to work reactively in big moments, as well as developing high-quality, templated concepts.
• Work within the creative marketing team to scope briefs, assist in creative problem solving, drive commercial performance through creative approach and grow brand sentiment with considered, impactful design that cuts through.
• Communicate with stakeholders, analyse feedback and make creative decisions to ensure high performing marketing campaigns. Assist in channel tests and be able to optimise performance through creative application.

Who are we looking for?

To be successful in this role, you will have professional experience in digital graphic design, ideally within a fast-paced creative, marketing, media or brand environment. You’ll be a creative thinker with an eye for detail and a passion for motion. You will be advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator. Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, balancing creativity with audience needs and commercial objectives. We’re looking for a team player who brings energy, positivity and fresh perspectives to every project. Due to the nature of the role, you will need to have a flexible approach to working hours across evenings and weekends.
