Job summary

Lockheed Martin in the UK North East invites an experienced SEIT leader to drive systems engineering, integration and test across satellite and ground systems. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, define TPMs and lead technical reviews to ensure programme success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience in engineering/physics or related field.
• Significant experience in systems engineering, integration and test within space/satellite industry.
• Proven hands-on experience in satellite system-level integration and testing in cleanroom environments.
• Strong understanding of GEO satellite systems, spacecraft architectures and verification testing processes.
• Experience developing AIT plans, procedures and test documentation.
• Strong requirements management including verification planning and requirements sell-off.
• Familiarity with ECSS, NASA and MIL-STD standards.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams and influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate SEIT activities across satellite and ground system programmes.
• Manage and evolve the system requirements baseline through the lifecycle.
• Lead system integration, verification and validation planning and execution.
• Develop and maintain system integration/test strategies, plans and procedures.
• Define and track TPMs and programme technical metrics.
• Lead technical reviews and engineering governance activities.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, suppliers and partners to resolve issues.
• Mentor and develop SEIT engineers and drive process improvements.
