Job summary

Alexander Associates Limited is seeking an experienced Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to deliver complex technology development and space hardware programmes from Harwell Campus, Oxfordshire.

You will lead multidisciplinary engineering teams, manage budgets and schedules, engage with customers and suppliers, and drive projects through SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR and FRR while maintaining high quality and delivery pressure in a fast-growing space company.

Qualifications

• Approximately 5+ years of experience in project or programme management within a complex engineering environment.
• Experience delivering complex technology or hardware development programmes.
• Experience with spacecraft, satellite, flight hardware or aerospace systems would be valuable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams with clear direction across engineering, commercial and operations.
• Define and maintain project objectives, scope, deliverables and schedules.
• Manage projects against agreed cost, schedule and quality requirements.
• Oversee budgets, resources, labour and expenditure.
• Track progress against milestones and KPIs and adapt plans to maintain delivery.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve technical/programme issues.
• Coordinate major milestones (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, FRR) and supplier relationships.
• Support bids for programmes with planning, scheduling and cost estimation.
