The Role

We are seeking an experienced and creative Senior Sous Chef to join our talented culinary team in Cambridge. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Head Chef to lead the kitchen team, deliver outstanding menus, and maintain the highest standards of food quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head Chef in overseeing all kitchen operations

• Lead, train, and inspire a team of chefs and kitchen staff

• Plan and prepare high-quality menus with innovative seasonal dishes

• Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety, and hygiene standards

• Manage stock, monitor budgets, and control costs effectively

• Support with event catering and bespoke client requirements

About You

• Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-volume environment

• A passion for food, creativity, and delivering exceptional standards

• Strong leadership and organisational skills

• Excellent knowledge of food safety and health & safety regulations

• Ability to thrive under pressure and maintain high standards
