Job summary

wagamama in the United Kingdom is hiring a Senior Sous Chef on a full-time basis. You’ll run the pass, lead a busy team, mentor chefs and shape the kitchen vibe with energy, pace and passion for fresh food.

OTE £43,600pa (formed of £40,600 base salary + £3,000 bonus) + tips and strong progression potential to Head Chef. Enjoy staff discounts, meals on shift, and the chance to grow in a fast-paced, people-first kitchen.

Qualifications

• Experience as kitchen manager or senior sous chef.
• Proven ability to lead a busy kitchen team.
• Strong passion for fresh food and high standards.

Responsibilities

• Run the pass and oversee kitchen operations during service.
• Lead and develop the kitchen team; maintain pace and quality.
• Mentor chefs and support their growth and training.
• Solve problems quickly and keep prep moving.
• Identify improvements and implement them with Kaizen discipline.
