Job summary

Houston & Hawkes in Central London is seeking a Senior Sous Chef to support the Head Chef, deliver premium hospitality and craft seasonal, beautifully presented dishes. You will lead the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence and mentor the team while ensuring superb consistency and food safety.

The role focuses on creative development, strong leadership, and close collaboration with front-of-house to deliver seamless events and dining experiences. Monday to Friday, competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Senior Sous Chef experience in premium hospitality.

• Strong knowledge of classic and modern cooking techniques.

Houston & Hawkes is looking for a talented Senior Sous Chef to join one of our Central London operations.

We're looking for a chef with strong technical ability, creativity and an exceptional eye for detail.

THE ROLE

• Support the Head Chef in leading the day-to-day kitchen operation
• Deliver premium hospitality
• Create beautifully presented, seasonal dishes using high-quality ingredients
• Lead the kitchen confidently in the Head Chef's absence
