A leading cloud services provider in London is seeking a Solutions Architect to work with major financial services clients. You will create scalable cloud architecture, drive customer success, and implement cloud strategies. Ideal candidates will hold a degree in computer science and possess experience in IT development and infrastructure architecture. The role emphasizes strategic thinking, technical breadth, and collaborative skills, offering a dynamic work environment within a diverse team.
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for experienced and motivated technologists who possess a unique balance of technical breadth/depth and strong interpersonal skills. As a Solutions Architect, you will partner with some of the world’s largest financial services companies, AWS Sales, and several other AWS teams to craft highly scalable, flexible and resilient cloud architectures that address customer business problems and accelerate the adoption of AWS services.
In collaboration with sales, you will drive revenue growth across a small set of global financial services customers. As a trusted customer advocate, the solutions architect will help organizations understand best practices around advanced cloud-based solutions, and how to migrate existing workloads to the cloud. You will have the opportunity to help shape and execute a strategy to build mindshare and broad use of AWS within enterprise customers.
The ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record to connect technology to measurable business value. You should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, products, and technical challenges.

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent, or experience in a professional field or military
- Experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries
- Experience within specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)
- Experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures
- Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients
- Experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking
- Experience working with end user or developer communities
- Experience in technology sales selling enterprise software, networking, infrastructure, managed hosting services, or cloud computing services
