Job summary

Talan is seeking a highly capable Solution Architect (Security and Integration) to lead and shape digital transformation initiatives across Energy, Public Sector and Financial sectors in the UK. You will act as a technical authority throughout the project lifecycle, guiding secure, scalable architectures and governance across engagements.

As a Principal Consultant in the Digital unit, you will collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver architecture that meets business objectives,

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and delivering solution architectures for business and technology change programmes.
• Strong expertise in secure, resilient and scalable digital solutions.
• Experience leading design activities and multidisciplinary delivery teams.
• Strong stakeholder management with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Knowledge of architecture frameworks and methodologies such as TOGAF or equivalent.
• Experience in regulated environments and full solution lifecycle from discovery to handover.

Responsibilities

• Define solution architectures and provide actionable recommendations for digital transformation.
• Lead architecture governance, design assurance and decision-making processes.
• Coach and mentor colleagues and contribute to capability development.
• Support business development with client engagement, bid responses and proposals.
• Act as a trusted advisor influencing senior stakeholders on security and scalability decisions.
