Job summary

A prominent Fund Management organization in London is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to join their Investment Technology Services team. The role involves developing solution architecture for investment-focused technology solutions and requires over 10 years in technology engineering along with financial services experience. The successful candidate will have a degree in Computer Science or related fields, with TOGAF certification preferred. Qualifications

• 10+ years working history in technology design or engineering.
• 5+ years’ experience in solution architecture and design.
• TOGAF certification or equivalent IT architectural qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop solution architecture and high-level designs for investment-focused technology solutions.
• Work closely with teams to develop, test, and release solutions globally.
• Ensure alignment to the Funds technology standards.

Skills

In-depth experience in the Financial Services/Wealth Management industry

Advanced practical knowledge of application & infrastructure best practices and standards

Good understanding of cloud computing concepts (preferably Azure)

Education

Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Systems engineering

Tools

Exposure to portfolio management systems (e.g. Blackrock Aladdin)

Exposure to execution management systems (e.g. Bloomberg EMS)

Investment data management solutions (Finbourne, GoldenSouce, Eagle)
