Job summary

DAC Beachcroft is seeking an ambitious and commercially minded solicitor to join our Commercial, Public Procurement, Infrastructure & Projects practice. You will work across a broad spectrum of complex commercial contracts for predominantly public sector clients, including NHS bodies and government departments.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with experience in commercial/public sector practice.
• Strong drafting and negotiating complex contracts.
• Experience or interest in public sector contracting and procurement.
• Ability to balance legal risk with operational objectives.
• Collaborative, cross-disciplinary teamwork and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate and advise on complex commercial contracts for public and private sector clients.
• Advise on outsourcing, managed services, technology, facilities management and service delivery.
• Support public sector clients on major transformation, infrastructure and regeneration projects.
• Provide advice on PFI/PPP and long-term partnering arrangements throughout lifecycle.
• Support procurement strategy, processes and law compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to business development.
