Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related subject, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years’ software development experience.
• 3+ years’ experience in Software QA or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of manual, automated and exploratory testing.
• Experience with QA, test management and defect tracking tools.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Strong attention to quality and customer outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain and execute manual and automated test plans and test cases
• Review requirements and assess testability and risks
• Identify, log, track and report defects
• Monitor software performance, usability and functionality
• Work closely with development teams to improve testability and quality
• Produce test reports, quality plans and supporting documentation
• Contribute to improving testing processes, tools and standards
• Support and coach teams on software quality and testing best practices
• Track and report testing and defect metrics
