Job summary

Nanotek Ltd in Camberley, UK, is seeking a Senior Software QA Engineer to lead quality across the software development lifecycle, with a focus on mobile platforms and cross‑OS testing.

You will collaborate with developers, BAs and stakeholders to ensure that functional and non‑functional requirements are met, champion test automation, and help evolve QA processes to deliver right‑first‑time results.

Qualifications

• QA experience across mobile and multiple operating systems.
• Experience with test management and automated testing software.
• Ability to document, analyse and troubleshoot software issues.
• Understanding of the software development process, including Agile.

Responsibilities

• Take lead responsibility for quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Developers, BAs, stakeholders to ensure delivery of functional and non‑functional requirements.
• Ensure a coherent UX/UI that meets customer and staff needs.
• Champion continuous improvement and a culture of high quality.
• Promote and embed QA techniques to improve speed-to-value and productivity.
• Support timely, high‑quality delivery of change projects.
• Evolve and maintain QA processes, metrics and test libraries, including automation scripts.

Salary: £62,000 - 102,000 per year

Requirements

• Proven QA and/or test experience across mobile and multiple operating systems
• Extensive knowledge and experience of test management and automated testing software
• Experience of documenting, analysing and troubleshooting errors
• Understanding of the software development process, including Agile

Responsibilities

• Take lead responsibility for ensuring quality throughout the software development lifecycle
• Work collaboratively with Developers, BAs, business stakeholders and other colleagues to ensure a shared understanding of desired business outcomes and delivery of functional, performance and other non-functional requirements
• Assure the provision of a coherent and satisfying UX/UJ which meets the needs of our customers and staff
• Champion continuous improvement and a culture of high quality throughout the function
• Promote and embed quality techniques which help deliver right-first-time, speed-to-value and total team productivity
• Support the timely, high-quality delivery of change projects
• Evolve, document and ensure the ongoing fitness-for-purpose of the QA processes, metrics and test library, including automated test tools and scripts
