Qualifications

• Significant experience leading software engineering teams.
• Strong full-stack technical expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, React.js, Node.js, and Python in production.
• Proven ability to embed engineering best practices (CI/CD, automated testing, code review, documentation).
• Experience architecting and delivering data-centric applications and consuming APIs/data services.
• Strong people management skills and track record of developing engineers.
• Effective communicator translating business needs to technical solutions.
• Passion for using technology to improve performance in high-pressure environments.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the software engineering strategy, standards, and roadmap for the Data & AI group, embedding modern practices.
• Lead and develop a team of software developers and testers, managing recruitment and performance.
• Architect and deliver full-stack web applications that surface insights and enable action.
• Own and evolve the central insights platform with focus on performance and UX.
• Balance quality with delivery speed, manage technical debt and keep code healthy.
