Job summary

Dex is partnering with a company that builds core infrastructure for planet-scale real-time data. You will join the Pub/Sub team, owning the design, development, and optimisation of low-latency, high-availability backend services.

Qualifications

• Commercial, production experience with distributed systems, performance analysis, and large-scale infrastructure.
• Proven track record building or working with messaging queues and/or pub/sub systems at real scale.
• Extensive experience with a high-level server-side language; Node.js or Go preferred (a Go-heavy background, e.g. Samsara-style, maps well here).
• A strong, hands-on coder who can clear a deliberately tough technical bar.
• Practical experience using AI tooling to accelerate development, coupled with a clear understanding of where human rigour is indispensable.
