You will work closely with the Technical Lead and business customers to turn sophisticated business problems into scalable, resilient and production-ready solutions.A key focus of the role will be taking **Data and AI solutions from discovery through to production**, including rapid prototyping, evaluation, deployment and operation of agentic applications such as multi-agent systems and Model Context Protocol (MCP) services.# **What you’ll do**Software engineering* Design and develop sophisticated backend services, platforms and RESTful APIs that support critical trading and middle-office workflows.* Build scalable, resilient and cloud-native applications using modern software engineering practices.* Develop high-quality, maintainable code with a strong focus on automated testing, including TDD and BDD.* Identify and address technical debt, performance bottlenecks and opportunities to simplify and improve the technology landscape.* Apply sound software architecture principles, including Domain-Driven Design, reactive programming and event-driven architectures.* Chip in to architectural decisions and the evolution of the team’s technology platform and long-term roadmap.*
