Job summary

Nebius is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to help us build Nebius Serverless AI — a GPU-native platform for deploying inference endpoints, batch jobs, and AI workloads without managing infrastructure.

This is a senior, high-ownership role with end-to-end responsibility—from runtime cold-start to API contracts. You will design architecture, drive hard decisions, and raise the bar through reviews, collaboration with product, GTM, and infra teams. Hybrid work from London or Amsterdam.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience shipping distributed systems at scale.
• Excellent knowledge of Golang, or readiness to switch quickly.
• Deep experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Design and build core Serverless platform components (control plane, scheduler, runtime, autoscaler, APIs).
• Own hardest engineering problems: cold-start latency, GPU scheduling under contention, multi-tenant isolation.
• Define technical direction, write design docs, and align the team behind chosen approaches.
• Raise engineering bar through code reviews and design reviews; foster senior-level ownership.
• Operate the service like an SRE: define SLOs, build observability, lead incident response.
• Collaborate with customers and product/infrastructure teams on architecture and roadmaps.
