About the Role

We have an experienced team of software engineers working across an Angular, .NET, SQL Server, and Elasticsearch technical stack.

Our vision is to protect people and the planet for generations to come through offering a connected platform of EHS solutions across a cohesive, distributed system. With a focus on shared services, automation, and self-service capabilities, we are building a strong foundation for the future of our platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design, develop, and maintain software solutions across frontend, backend, and database layers.
  2. Work with distributed systems and APIs, ensuring seamless integration between products.
  3. Contribute to the design and development of shared services (e.g., authentication, hierarchy management).
  4. Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and mentoring to support team growth.
  5. Work closely with Product Managers and other stakeholders to understand problems and deliver high-impact solutions.
  6. Ensure adherence to best practices in scalability, security, and performance optimization.
  7. Support and troubleshoot production systems as needed, collaborating with the Cloud Operations team where required.

What we're looking for:

Technical Skills:

  1. Strong experience in C# .NET (Core/Framework), Angular, SQL Server, Elasticsearch, and AWS.
  2. Experience working with distributed systems and service-oriented architectures.
  3. Solid understanding of API design, performance optimization, and data modeling.
  4. Proficiency in unit testing, CI/CD, and modern DevOps practices.
  5. Familiarity with scalability patterns, caching strategies, and cloud-based architectures.

Professional Experience:

  1. 5+ years of software engineering experience, ideally in a full-stack role.
  2. Previous experience working in a distributed platform environment is highly desirable.
  3. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex technical challenges.
  4. Experience collaborating in cross-functional teams and working with stakeholders across engineering and product.

Preferred Qualifications & Traits:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  2. A passion for building scalable, maintainable, and well-architected solutions.
  3. Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to learning and improvement.
