Job summary

A leading investment firm in the United Kingdom is seeking a Mid-Senior Level Engineer to design and build distributed cloud-native services integral to investment workflows. This role offers competitive compensation and an environment that fosters clean design and scalability. Ideal candidates will have over 8 years of experience, strong expertise in C# or Java, Python proficiency, and familiarity with cloud technologies, preferably AWS. Experience in financial markets is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience building and maintaining production systems.
• Deep knowledge of C# or Java and strong experience in Python.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS).

Responsibilities

• Design and build distributed, cloud-native services for equity workflows.
• Develop high-performance backend systems focused on reliability.
• Build APIs using gRPC and contribute to web interfaces in React.
