Job summary

Chaosindustries in London is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own backend services and build real-time data pipelines using Python, TypeScript and Azure. You’ll ship high-performance components that scale sensor data processing and monitoring across teams.

You’ll collaborate with hardware, software and field engineers, travel weekly to co-locate with San Francisco teams quarterly, and help define the engineering foundations for a fast-evolving platform.

Qualifications

• Experience building scalable backend systems and owning production services.
• Experience with distributed systems and real-time data problems.
• Real leverage from AI coding tools, with a considered view on what to delegate and what not to.
• Willingness to travel: based in Soho, co-locate with SF team for about a week each quarter.

What you’ll do
