Responsibilities

• Support module authors by working on the build system, tools, Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), and documentation.
• Take ownership of solving problems rather than specific code areas.
• Dive into new areas of code across the Android system to understand how they work and implement necessary features.
• Work with other teams across Android to implement features in code they own.
• Improve the Android build system, provide new platform APIs for modules, and create tooling for backward-compatible API updates.
