Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering user-facing software in a product team.
• Hands-on experience with test automation and TDD (eg Jest).
• Strong knowledge of modern frontend and backend tooling.
• Mentor engineers and promote best practices within the team.
• Willingness to work across the stack when needed.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver features across applications using TypeScript, React, Node.js, Express, Kubernetes, and GitLab.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to solve meaningful problems and build scalable solutions.
• Contribute to sprint planning and influence feature prioritisation.
• Participate in engineering forums and initiatives to improve craftsmanship.
• Mentor others and promote an inclusive learning culture.
• Provide clear estimates for user stories to support planning.
• Conduct constructive code reviews and promote quality engineering practices.
• Explore emerging technologies to improve platform and developer experience.
• Work in an Agile environment with collaboration and iterative improvement.
