Job summary

Heidi is building a code-first automation engine to connect EHRs without native integrations. You will develop the UI-automation layer, mapping templates, and patient-matching logic that writes into real patient records.

You'll work hands-on with NHS and private deployments, sometimes on-site with our Commercial Team, turning on-site observations into shipped automation within days, and collaborating with Product and Integrations to scale across customers.

Qualifications

• Portfolio or demo showing automation that solved real users.
• Production UI automation experience with Playwright or similar.
• Python as primary language; C# or TypeScript bonus.
• Experience with regulated/high-stakes systems is a plus.
• Willingness to travel on deployment on-site with teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Heidi's deterministic automation engine for EHRs lacking native integration.
• Create UI-automation flows across web and desktop systems to push data into third‑party software.
• Implement patient-matching and validation to ensure data lands on the correct record safely.
• Prototype with AI tools like Claude Code and Cursor; ship quickly, then production‑grade code.
• Embed with health systems during live rollouts; map real workflows on site.
• Engineer work queues, retries, and exception handling for unattended automation.
• Harden flows against UI drift and decide when native integration is better.
• Treat each automation as a product; measure reliability and document extension points.
