Job summary

Civica is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in the United Kingdom to design, develop, and implement robust software solutions. You will collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers and stakeholders to gather requirements, while mentoring juniors and promoting best practices.

Core tech includes Go, React, and cloud platforms with CI/CD and test automation. A strong focus on scalable, secure software and modernising legacy systems is expected.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Go and modern web stacks (React/Angular) with a focus on scalable, secure software.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of TDD, automated testing, and modern CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to mentor and guide junior engineers and collaborate with product/design teams.
