JOB TITLE: Senior Software Engineer – Engineering Team Manager
SALARY: £70,929 - £86,691 per annum
LOCATION: Halifax or Leeds
HOURS: Full‑time – 35 hours per week
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our offices stated above.

This role is crucial in ensuring the successful delivery of high‑quality software and platforms that make a real impact on our customers, businesses, and communities. You will be part of a dynamic team that values collaboration, continuous learning, and the pursuit of excellence.
Within the Homes Platform we're responsible for the UK’s biggest mortgage book. We are on a journey to transform our core technology and the technical capabilities of our colleagues. The Digital lab are responsible for a product that fully aligns to modern engineering standards – hosted on Azure cloud infrastructure, using a micro‑service architecture, with JavaScript and TypeScript built applications using React and Node.js.
Over the last 2 years we have launched new digital journeys on modern JavaScript frameworks, developed detailed suites of customer journey and analytics, transitioned workloads onto the Cloud and incrementally modernised and simplified our technology estate.
