As a Senior Software Engineer on the Connect Platform Team, you’ll help design, build, and operate components that bridge Kafka with the wider ecosystem, enabling secure, scalable data

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience.
• Experience leading delivery of large-scale, secure, highly available systems.
• Hands-on with hyper-scale distributed systems engineering.
• Production cloud services experience and on-call rotation.
• Expertise with Java, Kubernetes and cloud platforms.
• Strong collaboration and mentorship abilities.
• BS in CS or Engineering; advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with distributed systems and cloud-native development.
• Architect complex engineering systems end-to-end.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver the Data Streaming Platform roadmap.
• Evaluate and enhance platform efficiency and stay current with trends.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the team.
• Improve stability, performance, scalability, and operations across critical systems.
