Job summary

Marsh seeks an experienced Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and support scalable software. You will contribute to AI-enabled initiatives, work with Angular, TypeScript, and JavaScript, and deliver high-quality software in a fast-paced team.

This hybrid role requires three days in the office, with UK office base locations available. The team collaborates with product, architecture, and business stakeholders to drive innovative software solutions and maintainable codebases.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in a similar software engineering role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Angular.
• Proven expertise in TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Ability to operate independently and take ownership of delivery.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Experience working in Agile environments and delivering maintainable software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support scalable software solutions using modern engineering best practices.
• Work independently to deliver high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, and technical colleagues to ensure solutions meet business needs.
• Write clean, maintainable code and robust unit tests in line with coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, including performance and integration challenges.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and team collaboration.
