Job summary

Nebius Group is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to build the web access infrastructure behind a novel agent‑oriented search engine. You will study how websites communicate with browsers and translate those insights into production systems that operate at internet scale.

You will contribute to browser instrumentation, tooling, and debugging, collaborating across teams to optimize performance and reliability in a rapidly evolving AI cloud platform.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer working on production backend or infrastructure systems.
• Expertise in browser internals, web platform technologies, and distributed systems.
• Experience with browser automation frameworks (Playwright/Puppeteer/Selenium) and instrumentation.
• Strong programming skills in Go, C++, or Rust and familiarity with cloud infrastructure.
• Knowledge of HTTP protocols, TLS, DNS, cookies, caching, and browser networking.

Responsibilities

• Research how modern websites communicate with browsers across the request lifecycle.
• Investigate browser fingerprinting and client verification mechanisms for reliable web access.
• Build tooling for browser instrumentation, debugging, observability, and large-scale experimentation.
• Translate research into production systems operating at internet scale.
