The Emerald Group Ltd, Search and Selection is seeking a .NET developer to design, develop, test and deploy custom applications using Blazor and C#. The role collaborates with architects and engineers to craft scalable solutions in a hybrid London office.

You will implement Azure Cloud Services, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, and uphold coding standards. Experience with Azure Functions, Azure SQL, and Terraform is a plus; Insurance sector exposure is preferable.

Qualifications

• Extensive .NET development with C#, ASP.NET Core experience.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and Git workflows.
• Strong Azure Cloud Services knowledge (Functions, SQL, App Service).
• Blazor experience a plus; Terraform IaC a plus.
• Insurance sector experience preferable.

Overview

Key responsibilities including however, not limited to the following:

• Design, develop, test, support and deployment of custom applications based on .NET (Blazor, C#).
• Collaboration with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to design efficient and scalable solutions
• Implementation of Azure Cloud Services and features that enhance application performance and reliability
• Develop and write high-quality coding standards

Please note this role is Hybrid working 3 days a week on site in the London Office

Experience Required

• Considerable industrial experience of development within the .NET environment using C#, preferably with experience in ASP.NET Core and Entity Framework Core
• Considerable and proven experience in iterative methodologies, using DevOps platforms such as Azure DevOps and Git
• Strong experience with Azure Cloud Services, e.g. Azure Functions, Azure SQL, and Azure App Service
• Experience with Blazor is a plus
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform is a plus
• Reinsurance or insurance sector experience preferable
