Job summary

Vise is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in the United Kingdom to lead the implementation of systems powering scale and performance. You will work with the Product team to deliver measurable, testable solutions and mentor engineers on best practices.

A strong emphasis on operational excellence and modern tooling is expected. Candidates should have 5+ years of experience, deep knowledge of Python, Golang, and TypeScript, and familiarity with Postgres and Airflow or equivalents.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience (excluding education/internships).
• Experience with Python, Golang, and TypeScript is a big plus.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design.
• Experience with relational databases — we use Postgres.
• Familiarity with Airflow or an equivalent pipeline management system.
• Prior work experience with financial data, investment tools and/or markets.

Experience with React and a familiarity with the latest frontend frameworks and tools5+ years of software development experience outside of education and internshipsExperience with backend and frontend languages.
