A leading digital business is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Newcastle upon Tyne. This mid-senior level role involves designing, building, and maintaining web applications and digital products. Candidates should have strong back-end expertise in C#.NET or Node/Express, and be proficient in HTML and CSS. This role offers a hybrid working environment and a full-time contract.

Formación

• Eligibility for BPSS clearance is required.
• Proficient in frontend technologies: HTML, CSS/SASS.
• Strong backend experience with C#.NET or Node/Express.
• Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Git and agile project tools (Jira/Azure DevOps).
• Ability to mentor developers and participate in code reviews.
• Eligibility for BPSS clearance is required.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver high-quality web applications and digital products for clients.
• Design and implement cloud-based infrastructure and automation (IaC).
• Launch new projects from the ground up and support deployments.
• Lead code reviews, mentor developers, and ensure best practice is followed.
• Actively contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and technical discussions.

Job Title: Senior Software Engineer

Location: Newcastle – Hybrid

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality web applications and digital products for clients.
