RJC is looking for a Senior .Net developer role for a global energy trading company based in London. Working as part of the Front Office t Dev team, they are looking for a developer to assist in the creation of a platform that values all deal types within the organisation portfolio.

They are looking for a senior technical individual who is a team player and keen to add value to projects and bring the overall standard of the team up. The position has great scope to grow into a Lead or Principal position with new desks and opportunities internally.

This is a technical position, but someone who has exposure to trading environments or ideally commodities would be of particular interest.

The ideal Senior .Net Developer will have:

• Minimum 5+ years C# and .Net development experience
• Experience with Enterprise Messaging tools i.e. Kafka, Azure service bus etc.
• Experience working within a trading environment (energy or commodities preferred)
• Strong experience with distributed architecture and modern CI/CD practices (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Ability to work effectively under pressure with traders and demanding front office users
• Some exposure to front end development ideally React is Desirable
