A leading banking institution in Halifax is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead technical development and team management. SALARY: £70,929 - £80,000
LOCATION: Halifax
HOURS: Full time
WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, 40% (or two days) in our Halifax office
As Senior Software Engineer, you’ll take the lead on technical development and delivery at both team and sometimes lab level. In this role, you won’t just be writing code – you’ll also have a line‑management role, working as co‑lead with the team Product Owner to ensure everything is delivered on time to the highest standard.
You’ll be responsible for overseeing tech delivery, owning applications, and managing the team to ensure everything runs smoothly. This is an opportunity to combine your technical expertise with leadership, driving projects while keeping the team on track and motivated.
